Hi there! We made it to Friday my friends, so you know what that means: what I wore last week-ish is here. And may I just be the first to say what a weird week this has been. Maybe it’s the Halloween of it all? I don’t know but it’s been odd. B and I were both talking about how this week went by fast but it made sure to be a little weird along the way. I’ve got a few outfits from last week for you too. It’s finally getting cooler here so the sweaters and jackets and layers are coming out. I couldn’t be more excited.

Let’s get to last week’s looks!

Nordstrom Blazer | Madewell Jeans | Similar Striped Shirt | Sam Edelman Flats | Zara Scarf | J.Crew Bag

I really like this blazer and I ended up just tossing it on as a jacket over this tee but the outfit really came together. I’ve been on an oversized blazer kick this fall and this one is a nice kind of mushroom brown hue, so it can go either way with browns or blacks. (I’m in the medium.) My jeans are on sale, too!

Zara sweater | J.Crew Flares | Suede Flats

One of my favorite sweaters right now from Zara. It reminds me of The Row but obviously way, way less expensive. I’m in the medium and it runs very oversized! Also these flats are the ones for me for fall. I love finding one shoe that I just wear and wear and wear. This is the one, she has been anointed. Find them here.

Madewell Jacket | J.Crew Flares (old) | Similar Flares (Madewell) | J.Crew Suede Boots | Suede Bag | Quince Top

I’ll be honest I’m a one note with this jacket meaning I just keep pairing it with either the dark denim mini skirt or these dark denim flares. I don’t mind, but I will admit I could stretch myself when it comes to styling it. It is on sale this week by the way! You can find it here. (I’ve linked similar flares too!)

Quince Sweater | Madewell Midi Skirt | Zara Flats

This was a quick grab kind of an outfit. I knew I wanted to wear the skirt and I recently re-discovered this sweater from Quince so they were both kind of in the same vicinity (AKA tossed on a chair). And just like that, an accidental outfit was born. It’s kismet really. If I wouldn’t have been lazy and just tossed my discarded clothes on a chair, this outfit may have never been.

J.Crew Sweater Tee | Gap Skirt | Schutz Flats | Quince Purse

I wore this out for dinner the other night and I love this skort but I didn’t realize how short it rises it until I was sitting. (The shorts underneath are a touch more fitted and they’re a poly so there is no stretch. I think it plays mind games with me because I can *feel* how short they are underneath and I think it’s the whole skirt.) Just keep that in mind if you are tall, but otherwise I love a black skirt outfit for fall and I love that these have built in undershorts.

Zara Top | Anthro Pants | Zara Flats | Zara Scarf

Quick question: do I look like a mime? It’s too late if the answer is yes because I’ve already worn this look. I’m trying to convince myself that the scarf life is for me, but after I started writing this post I realized this look might be mime-adjacent. Let me know.

Quince Sweater | Reformation Skirt | Similar Suede Boots

I wore this for my birthday dinner last weekend! I didn’t feel great unfortunately for me but when you’ve got a babysitter and it’s your birthday, you make it work. I wore my most comfortable sweater and my emotional support tall boots. It was perfect for a drink and a night out with my B.
