(The wind was a paid actor in this shoot.)

There are some rare gems right now at Target and I for one and happy about this. I feel like Target has been hit or miss since 2021 – like that was a strong year for Target having unique pieces that didn’t just feel like dupes or knock-offs of other brands. That’s what this dress feels like — it feels new and unique but it’s under $50. I’m getting Anthro vibes from her and I am here for it.

This strapless or smocked dress trend is pretty big this summer. Not huge huge but it’s around. So if you like the look of this trend, I say start low — go with a cheaper piece and see if you like the trend. This dress is perfect example of that. You can find it here. I am in the medium and it runs very generous. If you don’t have big boobs, go down perhaps even 2 sizes. Also this dress comes in solid black and white as well! Find it here.

Now what do we wear under this thing?

Great question! I am wearing my trusty strapless bra from Wacoal here in these photos. This bra has been in my family for years now and by family I mean in my closet. It is one of my favorite strapless bras ever. It stays up 70% of the day (you can’t fight gravity with heavy boobs) and it’s comfortable as far as a strapless goes. (Find it here.) However, if you don’t want the restriction of a true strapless underwire bra, your best bet is going to be a bandeau. My ladies are a bit rambunctious for just one strip of fabric and some elastic right now, but for smaller chests, this is definitely the way I would go. I’ve linked my recommendations here!

  1. Right here is the right web site for anyone who wishes to understand this topic. You understand so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want to…HaHa). You definitely put a fresh spin on a topic that’s been written about for decades. Wonderful stuff, just excellent!
