I would love to buy this dress in all the colors — okay well the black and I really like that brown zebra abstract print one. This is one of those dresses that I love and want to wear all the time. Why can’t I, you ask? What’s stopping me? I have no idea now that I think of it. *adds all 5 dresses to cart*

This is the dress I showed you in yesterday’s post! Now you can see the dressing room selfie come to life. It’s a gauzy cotton dress and while yes, long sleeve, it’s lightweight and flowy, quite ethereal to be honest. The skirt and the top are lined but the sleeves aren’t so it’s not much of fabric there. If it wasn’t 1000 degrees here, I would hit up a patio in this pretty dress. But instead I will go in and out of all the different A/Cs confusing my body as to what season it actually is. I am in the medium here, it runs TTS if not a bit generously. Also it does have an open back which I discuss in detail below.

So…what do you wear under there?

As you can see here, I am wearing a tank type bralette (this one from True and Co) instead of letting the back be open. I am one of those people that can not get away without a bra. I mean technically sure *I could* but why would I put myself and others in danger, you know? I went with this one because it basically just looks like a camisole underneath, almost unseen because it matches my skin tone pretty closely. Now this might not be your cup of tea, but for me I don’t care if you can see the bra like this in the back. Would it look prettier with an open back? Probably but again I can’t go bra-less so for me the camisole / tank look is better than a regular bra strap. You can also do the stick on backless bras, too but I’m not ready to talk about my experience with those just yet.
