I recently bought this sweater from Amazon mainly because it was a best seller and let’s be honest — I’m an easy sell. There’s also a small part of me that wants to see what all the fuss is about and if it’s *really* a great find. FOMO but only because I want to prove something wrong. So I gave this dolman sleeve, ribbed sweater a shot. Well… this one deserves the Best Seller tag. It’s a good one. You got me again, Amazon Best Seller’s. Maybe next time I’ll try the Crocs. You just never know.

So this sweater is, as I was saying, a dolman sleeve (or batwing) with a pretty high neck boatneck silhouette. Also there is no tag so front and back are subjective. Which is perfect for someone who routinely puts her tops (oh and leggings ) on backwards. The sleeves aren’t bulky because the sweater itself isn’t bulky, but because of the way the sweater is cut, putting on a fitted jacket will bunch the sleeves a bit. A coat should be fine. The fabric is super soft with some stretch — actually a lot of stretch so it has a nice bounce to it. You can ruche the sweater up or wear it a little longer like a tunic. It is one size, so it will fit different on different body shapes and sizes, but I am typically a medium in sweaters and I found this to fit like a generous medium.

This sweater is under $30 and is an INCREDIBLE deal. The quality of the fabric is really good and I love the fit.

I asked on my IG stories which item from the try on you wanted to see most styled and this sweater was number one! So here are 8 different ideas to wear this very versatile sweater.

1 / Satin Skirt

If you’re looking for a holiday look, try a satin skirt and sweater combo (or a satin slip dress and put a sweater over it!). This look is comfortable, warm but you feel fancy. Also this look works with a pointed flat as well, I just couldn’t find them before the shoot. I am who I am.

2 / Wide Leg Denim

This is a very trend-forward look with the wide leg ankle denim mixed with booties and a wide brim hat. So if you like to take safe risks, this look is for you. I like to make sure there is a tiny break between the jeans and the boots just to give a bit of definition to the look.

3/ Layered Neutrals

Keeping the neutrals nice and cool, I tossed on an oversized scarf with my black boots and black denim. I would of course wear a black purse or backpack to complete this look out and about.

4/ Basic Denim + Booties

You can’t mess up a classic look and denim with booties is here to prove that statement true. Pick your favorite denim and your favorite bootie and you’ve got a perfect outfit. Sometimes simple is the best way to go.

5 / Faux Leather Leggings

No winter style session would be complete with faux leather leggings! These are my Spanx leggings (love them, wear them constantly in the winter months) and this sweater is so versatile that I can wear it like a tunic sweater here. Pair with with some sneakers and this look is good to go!

6 / Mini Skirt

One of my favorite combinations ever is a mini skirt + sweater set. I love the juxtaposition of the short mini with a chunky and warm sweater. Adding OTK boots just puts this look over the top. (This skirt is almost sold out. If you like this print and want a layered look, there is a slip dress with this print here!)

7 / Oversized Black Blazer

When in doubt, go with black. One of the chicest styles you can achieve is an all black ensemble and the crisp white of the sweater completes this look. Go with an oversized blazer over tailored to give the sweater more room to breathe and move.

8 / Casual Sweatpants

Who says a nice sweater can’t play well with sweatpants? Not me, because this was one of the first outfits I thought of. I love pairing a soft sweater with sweatpants as an off-duty look for the sweater. Going with a lighter hue like a soft pink or a grey plays up the casual vibes.
