I don’t know how long this top will be on sale but it’s on sale right now. How’s that for an inconclusive opening line? I got this shirt a few weeks ago and it’s nice that it’s long sleeve but lightweight. It’s nice for this transitional season anyways because it can be layered or well worn alone for now.

You can find this blouse (on sale or not on sale…I don’t know anymore) here!

I wanted to show these booties from last week’s post with a skirt because I was getting heavy skirt / dress vibes. And I don’t want to sound too humble but…I was right. These booties were made for a skirt / dress situation. I think it’s the wide opening at the ankle and where it hits that makes it so versatile. And as someone who thinks about shoes way too often, it’s actually kind of hard to find booties that can work with a lot of different looks, so I’m always on the look out for the versatile bootie. Now, granted these are snakeskin so that makes them a bit more wild than versatile, but I still count it as a neutral in my book.

Find these under $40 booties here!

Sad side note: this skirt is from last year and I thought for sure they would bring it back this year but alas. They did not. I’ve linked a few similar on the side bar and a few below. It looks like Madewell has a corduroy version that’s pretty darn close to this skirt here!

Fit Details

I am in the small of the blouse — size down for a tailored look. I do think it runs a bit generous. I am in the 8 of the skirt but it’s old so I’ve linked similar! Stay TTS in Madewell.
