I’ve been in a bit of a heel rut lately. At once I want a bold statement in a heel but I also want simplicity, as most of my outfits lately lean towards simple instead of bold. Shoes everywhere have informed me that this is asking a lot. They are either very simple or way too bold. There is no in between. So I thought, until I stumbled upon these cognac heels from M.Gemi. B has ordered shoes from M.Gemi before but this was my first time and good grief are they nice. They fit perfectly and while they are on the more expensive side I would say, they feel like they should cost $500. They are such high quality, I am so impressed. I was just going for looks but I got quality, too. Dream shoes do exist and apparently, they are cognac. You can find these heels here.

No your eyes aren’t fooling you — I am wearing yet another cardigan. I’ve got a new obsession and it’s cardigans. Of all the things to be low-key obsessed with, I choose cardigans. But hear me out: they are the perfect complement to all of my outfits and our winter has been so mild that it’s really all I need lately. If it helps a mama get up and get dressed, then I’ll take them all. (I think I may have. I don’t think there are any more cardigans for sale at Nordstrom now because I bought them all.) If you guys want, I can do a round up of my favorite one’s I’ve found this winter! And yes, I have enough to do a whole roundup. 😉

Fit Details

The cardigan fits oversized at my TTS. If you want it to be more fitted, then definitely size down! This top from J.Crew fits true to size but it’s a bit short if you are on the tall side! It looks a lot looser and longer on the model but I still really like it. And last but not least, you can get $25 off your first pair of M.Gemi shoes!

Monthly Capsule Wardrobe

Each month I create monthly capsules out of my favorite pieces, perfectly curated for each month.
