One of our last evenings in Maine, I knew I wanted to see the sunset at the beach so we headed down to Mother’s Beach — the quietest of all the beach fronts around the area. It was just us and a few families as we watched the sun fade away. Growing up in flat west Texas, sunsets were my favorite part of the day — you’ve never seen such a beautiful sky at night than in west Texas. Sunsets are one of my favorite things to watch in each place we travel, especially on a coast. It’s just such a peaceful thing to watch. And since I’m rarely up for sunrise, sunsets are my best bet.
This sweatshirt was a life saver when we were traveling! I also get cold in airports, hotels, taxis, I mean you name it and I will get cold. This sweatshirt was easy to keep with me and toss on if I ended up feeling chilled. Which was always. Cold blooded, I tell you. These were also some of my favorite photos — I don’t do a lot of casual on KE but in the summertime I tend to find myself wearing this combination a lot. Cut-offs with everything, I say.

Oh my gosh, yes!!! I’m so sorry I’m late to the game on this. We stayed at The Kennebunkport Inn and LOVED it. They are so kind and it was so central to everything. We actually booked it through Hotel Tonight via mobile and got a really great deal. Always worth a shot!
