Not only were we on the food tour of Charleston, but we were on the coffee hunt. We found SO many good spots that we were highly, highly caffeinated all trip long. (I’ll list them in my round up this week!) Maybe too caffeinated, as if there is such a thing. It’s funny as we get older we find ourselves loving coffee shops the way we loved bars in our twenties. Who says youth is wasted on the young?

This embroidered top is one of my recent favorite. I have the matching skirt but as much as I want them to pair together, they just don’t look right. No problem of course when white jeans are in season. This top was made for white jeans and red heels. I recently updated my favorite shade of suede in these J.Crew heels. The fit is right on and so is this fiery coral red hue. I think that if I had to have a signature color, it would be this coral red. From my toes to my lips, I just love this shade. Almost as much as I love coffee. Almost.

*The title of this post is slightly misleading — this is Rise Coffee off of Wentworth Street and King Street. šŸ™‚

  1. Kendi, I like all of your outfits. But I really LOVE this one. It’s so fresh and youthful without being too forced. The pop of color in your heels to bring out the embroidery is just perfection! Very Charleston appropriate!

  2. I’m obsessed with blue and white lately (actually talking about it on my blog today!) but this pop of red is so fun and unexpected! Just gorgeous Kendi.
