I didn’t realize it until I was editing my photos that this might be the most 90s outfit ever. A full on floral jumpsuit and a faded denim jacket? Oh yes I did. Granted I am missing a choker necklace and a Spiegel catalog, but other than those small details I am repping the 90s pretty darn well. It’s funny how styles can come back without us even realizing the influences of past decades. I feel like I’m paying homage to my childhood — the carefree days when I wore floral jumpsuits and heels. Those were the days.
Also PS: This jumpsuit is on sale at ShopBop today but it’s the last day for 25% off! Nothing like waiting for the last minute to tell you, huh? Procrastination is my strength and sales are my weakness.

ArcheAge is an MMORPG developed by Korean developer Jake Song (former developer of Lineage) and his development company, XL Games. The game was released in Korea on January 15, 2013, Europe and North America on September 16, 2014, and has http://www.2archeage.com also had a closed beta in China. ArcheAge is described as a "sandpark" MMORPG, which the developers say is a hybrid of the open content style of a "sandbox" game and the more structured play experience of a "themepark" game.

  3. I was daydream-reminiscing the other day about these amazing floral trousers I'd had about twenty years ago…they were *the most* amazing item of clothing – you know the ones, you feel like a million dollars but they're just *so comfy* too – well, these were all that and more….delicious, just delicious (do you dream about past items of clothing too? Ones that have died and gone to clothing heaven? Or is that just me?!)…anyway, they looked pretty much like this….I didn't wear them with such foxy heels, however 😉 Thanks for bringing my daydream-reminiscing over 'clothes no more' so vividly to life!

  4. I'm loving this outfit, it looks super cool! I'm nostalgic when I think about the 90s, too. Those are the years of my childhood. It's funny that a few years ago everyone would say that 90s were the worst that ever happened to fashion, but now those trends are slowly starting to come back. Still, you pulled it off perfectly! 🙂

  5. Love the Spiegel catalog reference. I was drawn to your blog by the outfits, but I stick around because of the writing : )

  6. Kendi – I liked this outfit but did you notice some of the words behind you in some of the photos you picked? One is the f word and one other is the c word??? Only reason I'm pointing this out – your sponsors seeing it with their items! Just an FYI!

  7. Hi Kendi,
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this post and reminiscing about the 90's! Choker necklaces – I had quite a few of those. Haha. It is funny how the influence of the 90's is seen in recent fashion trends. This is a great look, and I love the heels you paired with the jumpsuit!

  8. Thanks for pointing that out! You know what? I pass by this wall everyday (it's right by the shop) and don't even notice the words scribbled on there so I had to squint to see them! It's amazing how you forget to look at your own surroundings sometimes 🙂 This post isn't sponsored but thanks for the heads up! Maybe I should find a different wall next time and let this one go into retirement! Sorry again for the unintentional R-rated post!

  9. YES! You understood the Spiegel reference! That makes my day. I asked my husband what the odds were of ANYONE understanding that and he said slim, so this makes me so happy 🙂 Life in a Spiegel catalog was good.
