I found this lips tee this week while perusing Piperlime and decided then and there that it was due time for a Friday Night Likes post. I’ve also had my eye on this skirt and this purse. Of course, my eyes have carts open all over this internet so maybe it’s just safest that I put it in a collage and call it done. Imaginary shopping at it’s best.

  1. Haha, I so agree about imaginary shopping being the best! I’m trying to be frugal these days and avoid all clothing stores, both online and brick and mortar. I love your idea of writing a shopping blog post rather than doing the actual shopping. Win win, as you both get to shop and use the information for something useful. Also, you don’t have to clean out your closet to make room for the new imaginary shopping!

  3. I think you are a great kind person but online shopping can become a very unhealthy addiction. Your brain chemistry can become very affected and twisted. I advise you to talk to a counselor before you get out of control with spending. I know way too many people who have this addiction and got help for it. And as there are more fashion bloggers then ever before, more people feel the need to shop constantly to wear new clothes often just to keep their followers. Its so sad and wrong that people in our technical world try to gain popularity in all the wrong ways. I know one fashion blogger who recently had a breakdown emotionally because she was spending out of control just to keep her blog popularity up. She finally gave up her fashion blog permanently and is doing better. I hope you don’t go down the wrong path. Just some words of wisdom. I think you wearing some past clothes and remixing old forgotten clothes could be a great way to example how to shop in your own closet. Take care!! 🙂

    1. You probably mean well but no where did Kendi imply she has a shopping addiction or shown signs of a problem. Your tone comes across as very judgmental.

      1. Its not one bit judgemental. This is a common problem. If someone doesn’t try to help someone, they may never change. We are here to help each other. There is a happy medium to shopping, but online shopping can lead to erratic spending. I’ve been there. I got help for it. My goal is to help others.

  7. Just wanted to let you know that the collage image doesn’t show up in Google Chrome (either on your site or viewing the post in Feedly), but does just fine in Firefox. I have the same trouble with the LOFT website, haven’t pinned down why. Your normal outfit pictures come through just fine, so maybe its something specific to the type of image. Have a great Sunday and best wishes with your reopening!
