A few of my favorite photos from this past year. 

 
 

2013 was a quiet year of self discovery. I learned just how strong the human spirit can be, not only mine but also those around me. As I look back through these photos, I see one common thread: I look happy. It’s hard to remember if I actually was happy or if I was struggling, but even through struggle, my spirit is happy. This blog has kept me going on many days that I didn’t think I could. You guys are lifesavers. 
Thank you for letting me become and grow into who I am over these past 4 years. It’s not often that a person can find friends who let them evolve, but I’ve got many of them (that’s you) and for that I am forever grateful. In October, I turned 29. I figured it would be the same as my other 28 birthdays but something clicked this year. I feel happy, grateful, and confident in myself and in my life. Those three things are worth any struggle I could go through. 
Thank you for sticking around for the words, the photos, the outfits or whatever you stop by to see. 2014 better be ready for us, I have a feeling we are going to be unstoppable.

  1. Such a great sentiment to look back on. I often look back on photos of times when I remember being unhappy, but there are moments even in the darkest of times that we are happy and photos are such a great way to remember that! Here’s to a great 2014!

I’m younger by just a few years, but I think I’m grappling with identifying myself too.
