Yesterday was one of the first days in a long time that I was able to work all day long. As someone who loves to work, this is the best feeling ever. Even though I’m well out of my first trimester, I really was feeling like the sick part was how it would be forever, so I’m so freaking ecstatic to be up and happy and working. I am trying to control myself from using all of the exclamation points right now but just imagine all of the previous sentences with at least 3 exclamation points on the end. At least 3, possibly 5, and truthfully 10.

Let’s talk this dress, shall we? I was so excited when I saw it online and ended up just going to the store to try it on. The cold shoulder trend can be a hard fit sometimes and you want it to be just right. ย I find that it can fall in an odd place or the straps are just awkward, but this dress fits the right way for a cold shoulder. If you are iffy on this trend, this dress is a nice introduction to it. You can imagine how thrilled I was when it fit perfectly and with plenty of room to grow. It has been so warm here and I am not complaining. I will always votes to just skip right over winter any time. Spring dresses are my favorite thing in the world, so sign me up for spring weather any day.

Now that I’m feeling like taking on the world again, I’ve got so many cute things to share in the next few weeks. From my closet, that is. We will have to wait a few more months for the other cute thing that I’ll share. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Fit Details

This dress is perfect for maternity! It’s loose fitting and I am all about that. Definitely stay true to size! It’s a looser fit, so don’t size up!

Monthly Capsule Wardrobe

Each month I create monthly capsules out of my favorite pieces, perfectly curated for each month.

  1. So happy to hear you are feeling better! I was one of the lucky ones that felt sick for the first 20 weeks too. It will get better! Just rest and eat when you can. Love this look!

  2. I’m 18 weeks and still struggling, just starting to notice an uptick in my energy levels. Yesterday I had a workshop and really felt like I was back to my normal self. I keep joking that if I didn’t know I was one-and-done before, I certainly do now.

  3. So exciting you are pregnant! What a surprise! I haven’t visited your actual blog in a while (just Insta) and did not know the exciting new! Congrats! I’ve followed you along from the beginning blog days and it’s always super fun to celebrate with you! So happy. Praying for a healthy baby and pregnancy! – Katie
