Today we are going to do this quick and dirty, therefore I’m just going to cut to the chase on this post.
Do you like stripes? Well then have I got a deal for you. This top is $20. I am not even sh***ing you. (I’ve never semi-cursed on here. Is that the appropriate amount of asterisks?) Now for another question — have you ever shopped at Uniqlo? It’s kind of like a better H&M, to be honest. I’ve always window shopped online but when we were in San Francisco I popped into one that was close to our hotel. I was immediately smitten with the whole store — it’s like elevated basics everywhere you look. (Clothes, not people.)
I found this striped tee and loved the weight of it. It’s pretty thick knit, and perfect for fall layering. It is also wine resistant — do you know how I know this?  Yes you do. You know how I know this. You can fill in the blanks of the story but basically it all came out.

This skirt has been getting lots of wear lately because I know I’ve got limited time before bare legs become boot legs. That doesn’t sound right but I’m going to go with it. I love a mini skirt with tall boots, don’t get me wrong but I still love these few weeks in fall that I can still get away with no tall boots or tights. It’s a  short time period so I’m going to live it up mini skirt style.
Moral of this story: floral skirts are my favorite and any tee that I can spill on and it comes out in the wash is a friend of mine.

How has it taken you so long to discover the beauty that is Uniqlo?! They have the BEST tees. I have one just like that but with mixed navy and red stripes and it’s a dream. It’s held up sooo well! (I have yet to spill wine on it, though.)
