We’ve got 4 days left of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I wanted to be sure to cover the most essential essential there has ever been — denim. Denim is my number one true love essential that never goes out of style. So when they go on sale, it’s a great time to stock up if you haven’t done so yet. I wanted to show a few of my favorite pairs from the sale and how I can wear them now or later! That’s right I got out in the 100+ heat to shoot these perfect for fall looks, just for you. I perspired for you to be inspired. Perspiration for inspiration. That’s my new tag line.

Kendi Everyday in Skinny Jeans under $50

First up — your classic skinny jean. I love this true blue shade as well. You just can’t go wrong with a skinny jean and this one has just the right amount of stretch. I stayed true to size and even felt like there was plenty of room in there, but probably wouldn’t size down. Just a good amount of stretch and flex. Oh and how did I get this far into the paragraph and not mention they are under $100 — nay, under $50 right now? $45 bucks, my friends. But just for 4 more days. (Another favorite pair under $50! But I haven’t tried them on, so I’m just eyeballing it here.)

Love them with this floral top that I can’t seem to stop wearing these days! Took it to California last week and wore it around the resort with some cut-offs and love wearing it during the week during this heat storm or whatever you would call this awful time of the year. Oh we call that Summer? Seems like a nice name for such a terrible time on the year.

This pair has been on the top of my list since I got them at the very begging of the sale. These are the AG Legging Ankle Jeans and they are just the best. I love AG jeans in general and when they are $80 off, I’ll bite that bait. They definitely have stretch, so you can easily stick to your size. Perfect staple for fall, as well. I love that they hit right at your ankle so it’s made for fall booties. (Also love this double distressed pair!)

Oh and this is the top I was wearing in my Snap the other day! If you aren’t following me on Snapchat, you’re missing out on some weird goodness. My username is kendieveryday! I like to keep it easy for ya 😉

There was just something about this pair of slate grey jeans that made me want to go street. I immediately tossed on my Stan Smiths and this striped sweater, such a casual vibe for fall. These jeans are super flattering. Hudson Jeans all have a wonderful fit, so I don’t know why I was surprised that these fit so well. Stay true to size, definitely on these. I feel like you can never go wrong with a grey or black denim in fall. It’s always such a nice break from blue.

There aren’t a ton of sizes left but here are my favorite picks from the denim sale at Nordstrom! Denim for days and I am not complaining.

  1. Love the look of all these jeans. I can’t wait until the fall season starting, so it’s not too hot to wear jeans again 🙂

  2. Can’t wait to wear real jeans this fall. Love your off-the-shoulder top – it’s so perfect for summer!

  3. I’m loving the casual jeans looks! You are usually soooo dressed up these days. From someone who doesn’t wear many dresses, thanks for the casual post! ?

  4. For all these jean styles, I highly recommend reading the reviews on the website. I found that with the AG “ankle” jeans, lots of gals who were shorter (so shorter than 5’6″) found that they were not “ankle” jeans on shorter types – and that the cuts/distressing in the knee area fell too low on them, or right at the bend of their knees – so it was really awkward wearing (vs. how they hit Kendi just ABOVE her knee cap). Just a note to think about height and read all the reviews if you can!

  5. Where did you get the bracelet you’re wearing in the first picture/outfit? It’s so gorgeous!
