I think we can all agree on the fact that Monday’s happen way too fast. Before I know it the weekend is over and I’m back to my regularly scheduled 7 am cup of coffee. But today was a little easier because I am so excited about this post and I’ll tell you why — I didn’t think this dress would work. You know when you take a chance on a new style and it works?? Best feeling ever. I always love a sleek and sophisticated look for work, but my brain tends to like soft pinks and fit and flare silhouettes. It’s good to mix it up a bit every once in a while, so I took a chance on this fitted dress with high hopes of it fitting just right. And it does. Good news for a Monday. (This dress fits true to size, if you were wondering!)
I love this look for day and for work, plus this type of fabric is so cool and easy to wear in the summer — it looks structured but it’s actually soft as can be. Which is exactly what my Monday plan is — looks structured in my planner but there will probably be some long coffee breaks, if we are being honest.

In my picks, I stuck to greys and blacks because quite often in the summer it’s a color we forget about but it works perfectly for work days in the warmer months.
