This was one of my favorite looks from St. Thomas a couple of weeks ago. I think I have said that about all of my outfits but I mean it on this one. Also, where did this off the shoulder trend come from because I love it. I mean it had to come from somewhere. Was it the 80s? Did the 80s call and want their dress back? Tell them I’ll call back later…which we all know means never.
Do you ever shop online and envision something to be different than what it actually turns out to be? Sometimes I have a bad case of great expectations with things I buy online and I envision something better than what I actually bought. With this dress, the reality actually outweighed the expectations for once. I thought this dress would be soft and flowy but instead this dress has kind of a scuba-like structured fabric. I actually like that about it, as it holds shape very well and didn’t wrinkle once which was perfect for traveling. The other difference was the color. On the website I swear it looks black but in person this dress is 100% navy blue. (Doesn’t it look black and white or is it just me?? Am I losing it? Probably is the answer to that but the dress is definitely blue. Right…?)

For me, in the first photo it starts blue then turns purple… but I think that’s just the reflection from the peach walls/floor! Beautiful dress either way!
It for sure looks black and white online. It looks more incredible in blue and white though! You look FABULOUS.

I love that dress but I hate polyester. Otherwise I would get it. I hate shopping online because everything looks better then in person. I will not wear an item and then return it…that’s just gross and dishonest, but I know many people who do it. No names will be mentioned.
Ps: this is very personal, but are you by chance experiencing infertility? I only ask because you seem to love children, and you being married for awhile, I just figured maybe something is wrong. If you are, my heart goes out to you. Its very painful to experience.
