I’ve been wearing this trench like it’s my new favorite thing. While it probably is my new favorite thing because everything is my new favorite, but really I think it’s just the sign of a good classic piece. It not only goes with everything but it’s timeless and can perfectly complete an outfit without really trying. I forget how classic styles make getting dress so easy. Classics are like your closet’s secret weapon. Note to self: invest in more classic pieces.

Kendi, how are you liking your Dolce Vita booties? I bought some and they are still in the box as I'm just iffy about that open heel…is it unique cool or just odd? Your last post wearing this trench totally inspired me to wear my trench recently. After a couple years in my closet, it hasn't had much wear, but it is nice to know that it is such a classic, and I can pull it out again and again. Thank you for getting me to look into the depths of my closet!
