I found this tee when we were in Zurich this past spring. We were wandering the streets and it started pouring rain so we ran into the closest shelter we could find, which just happened to be a cute boutique. (Lucky me, poor Bryan) Happenstance, I’d say. As we were waiting out the rain, I found these cute tee and loved it but felt a little sad that I found a new store I liked that was thousands of miles away from me. I later googled the shop to realize that it’s actually an American company. I would travel half way around the world to find something I could just buy in the states. True world traveler right here, folks. Let me plan your next vacation, I’ll take you to all of the off-the-beaten path places.
Also may I just say that if you find yourself in an alley way near sundown it is best to dress a little bit tough. And believe me nothing is tougher than a polka dotted full skirt. I’m just so street it hurts. (But wouldn’t really hurt anyone or anything. It’s just my girly skirt that makes me look so tough, I promise.)

  1. Don't worry– I first discovered Zara while in Prague… *sigh*

I love the leather jacket! I'm saving up for the perfect one. The hunt begins. 🙂

    Always, Anita

  2. Really cute look. I love the full circle midi skirt & the texture. Pairing the skirt with the leather moto jacket, this look is giving me modern day Grease (Olivia Newton-John). The best.

  3. Kendi! You are seriously killing it in this outfit! ( I laughed a little too hard when I read your "I'm so street it hurts" line.) I love finding cute clothes when traveling, but I agree it can be sad knowing someplace you love is really far away. Lucky for you that you can get their stuff online. On a side note: I love that we both have that Kate Spade bag! I just received mine as a birthday gift recently, but I have not yet posted a look with it on my blog yet. But yay! Twinsies! ;D Hope you have an amazing day!

  5. Brandy is probably my favorite place in the world, and fun surprise, it's actually an Italian company! They have stores in America and are based off LA and NY style, but their clothes are designed and manufactured just outside of Florence, Italy. So you got some European style after all 🙂

  6. Haha I totally have been there about thinking I'm discovering a new store and then realizing it was actually in the states! Lucky us though! I LOVE that full skirt!! I don't tend to wear full skirts but this one might be changing my mind it's so cute!

  7. Kendi dear, I've been dying to ask but just now getting around to it. Any chance you will do another 30 for 30 ever? =) Love your ability to mix it up.

  8. …and now I'm trying to figure out how to explain to my husband that I NEED this skirt. Not that I have to get his permission, but I prefer to skip the dirty looks when it shows up on our doorstep. 😉
