I'm pretty convinced that I have the worst immune system in the north Dallas region of Texas. (While a small area in comparison to the rest of the world, it's still a sizable award.) If someone sneezes within 25 feet of me, I will catch what they may or may not have. I feel like I can blame sitting in a cold office for years with only a computer to talk to that weakened my immune system. Now in the shop, all human contact is risky. And everyone knows cash has two things on them: crack and germs. Which is why I've stopped hugging every single person that comes through the door. Too much risk. And it scared some people off.
I thought I'd pull out my kitty dress for no good reason today. Just because you know….kittens!! Which I am also allergic to, not to be a downer. Truth be told, had there been a puppies dress, I would have probably gone for that one. Chalk this post up to more things you didn't want to know about me: cat allergies, low immune system, pups over kits. I am just so dimensional.

I've been in LOVE with this dress since the moment I first saw it on Calivintage. I have yet to make a purchase (mostly because it's out of my price range) but I still admire it from afar : )

Can you do a hair how-to? I have pretty much the same haircut and am dying with jealousy.
ReplyDeletei adore a sweater over a dress. it is super comfy, like wearing pj's in public, but somehow chic and always perfect. plus - this dress rocks!
ReplyDeleteI wish I splurged and bought this dress months ago when I saw it in the Anthropologie in NYC. It's darling!

NO lie...I just sneezed! Good thing it was just at the computer.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty outfit Kendi! So sorry to hear about your lack of resistance to colds and pussy cats! Sounds like you need some fresh garlic in your diet! My hubby was the same when we met - colds, allergies, you name it. Now, plenty of garlic in his diet, no problems for 10 years!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Happy New Year!

I love that kitty dress! drink green tea every day, I swear that is the only thing saving me from catching ever single sickness there ever was.

Adorable! And if you find any puppy dresses, please let me know. In real life puppies > kittens but on skirts, either is pretty darn cute.

Cat outfit! Me-YOW. I love how dresses can become skirts when paired with sweaters.
ReplyDeleteAs for the allergy thing-- a few years ago, I found a cat by the side of the road. I took it home to try to find a foster home for it, and slowly suffocated. Meanwhile, my husband and dog became desperately attached to it. Everyone's hearts broke when we had to give her away. But the cat is alive and well, and named "Darling," so I guess all's well that ends well!
