Tiered Meets Flared

Happy — *looks at calendar* — Wednesday, friends! I have no idea what time or day it is. I am kidding, I actually do because it’s my little Gem Gem’s birthday today! We’ve got a big two year old over here! I will repeat what every mother says around the time of her child’s birthday: I can’t believe it’s been two years. She is mostly excited for cake and toys today. She woke up saying CAKE so guess what? Cake it is. Also — same. Same request, every morning, for the last 34 years for me as well. She knows where the good life is and it starts with cake.

I warned you that there will be some Anthro this week. Well, ‘warned’ for those who aren’t Anthropologie fans and ‘announced’ for those who are. 😉 Anthropologie is my Disney Land. I’ve come to the conclusion in my 30s, that although I may try, I am not  100% That Girl. But I am like 30% that girl and I love being able to find those unique pieces that you just can not find anywhere else but Anthropologie. This whole outfit from yesterday is exactly what I’m talking about. This tiered top is the most Anthro of knits a girl could find. I love the length of it (not quite tunic length) and it’s just so soft and easy to wear. It’s that good kind of unique, not the weird kind, you know? I instantly knew I wanted to wear it with flare jeans, just to give it that cool girl vibe. (Flare jeans are in this fall, if you haven’t heard!) I am in the medium of the tee and you can find it in four colors here!

Since these are older jeans (I was excited to fit into them — holla 2016!) I wanted to round up some really cute flare denim that’s available right now! I have a wide range of my favorite brands and price points below! (If you like the Mother Denim ones from Anthro, I am a 30 in that particular pair. But typically a 29 in the other brands / fits.)
