I feel like the 4th of July is always the true indication of summer starting. Since we’ve had such a rainy spring, I’ve never been so excited for sunshine and heat. It’s not summer around here unless you regret stepping out of your house while trying and failing to look decent. We aren’t quite there yet, but I’m hopeful. Let’s do this, summer.
Since the 4th is in just a few days I thought I’d wear my red, white and blue this week. And as much as your eyes want you to think that those are tiny hearts on my blouse, they are actually little chickens. Hens if you’re fancy. French hens if you are fancy AND specific.  And tiny hearts if you have blurred vision. To each their own, right?

  1. Love your take on the red, white, and blue look here. Definitely thinking of something similar for the fourth (well…depending on the weather here in Atlanta, at least!).

  2. Yay chicken shirt! Much more chic than hearts! Will you ever do a poultry print mix and combine it with, say, flamingos?! 😉

Also, this was ages ago but thanks for your tips re: the sizing of your Saturdays and Sundays shirt! Took a while for me to get it since I had to order from the US, but it fits like a glove!

  3. What lipstick are you wearing in your instagram picture, the most recent one with the light blue top, in the car.

  4. Oh my gosh! I WORK at Loft and thought they were hearts lol. Imagine my confusion that it's called a French Hen Top lol. Oh boy.

  5. Love this shirt! Kendie, what size did you buy? Online reviews say to size way down…
