Last weekend I ran into J.Crew Factory just to give it a look-see and I found some gems! If you like the J.Crew aesthetic, but not the price tag then this try on is for you! I found a great barn jacket for fall, a few sweaters and some really nice barrel-ish jeans that I’ve been obsessed with since! And it looks like everything is 50% off right now, too! Let’s get to the pieces:

Field Jacket

I love the barn jacket trend for fall. Glad to see it is sticking around! This one is a more cropped version and if you are petite or have a shorter torso, this is a great option so it doesn’t overwhelm you! I am in the medium, fit is true to size with a relaxed fit. I like the navy plaid as well, super easy to pair with your fall favorites, dark denim, boots, etc.

This denim skirt is adorable, albeit very high waisted. I would suggest going down a size because it is a geneous fit and it’s quite stretchy. It’s also a really great length! I find J.Crew original skimps on length with skirts, so I was pleasantly surprised at how long this one was! I’m in the 10, but probably need the 8.

Cotton Sweater

I also loved this sweater, too! I am in the large and it’s a relaxed fit. This one is 100% cotton. I think that I’m preferring cotton lately with sweaters, especially in Texas. But I love how they wash out and get softer with wear. Anyways, I loved this one but found another brown / navy stripe, too!

Drawstring Trousers

These are the Jamie pants and I loved them! They just didn’t fit me and the size I needed was gone. They’re a poly, tie-waist drawstring pant with a flat front and elastic waist in the back. They fit with a more straight leg, straight through the hip fit. I also loved the length, they fell right below the ankle for me. I’m in the 8, but would have preferred the 10 for a looser fit at the waist / hips.

This top is their classic button down and I loved the print. I wished for it to be overused, but this is a classic, tailored fit. (I found this top in an oversized fit at Madewell though!) I am in the large, fit is TTS.

Rugby Sweater + Barrel Jeans

I loved this sweater! This is one of my top suggestions today. And if we had any cool weather in the foreseeable future I would have snagged her up It’s a soft, stretchy knit but quite warm! I am in the medium, fit is generous.

I loved these jeans — they’re a soft barrel jean, but I’d say it’s a pretty loose fitting barrel. Not too exaggerated. They kind of remind me of boyfriend jeans from back in the day. Same vibes, just a different shape. I’m in the 30, I bought them and have been wearing them! They do stretch out with wear.

Polka Dot Dress

This dress was adorable but I did pass on it! It runs TTS, with a smocking at the bust, but only in the front. The back has a zipper / no smocking. The skirt has multi-layer linings and is quite full! The torso was a bit short for me, but for someone else it would be a perfect fit! Find the dress here.

Rugby Striped Polo

As you very well know, I loved this top. You already know I bought this shirt! ! have been loving the polo rugby trend and finally found one that works! It is most wide at the shoulders (same) and it’s a boxy fit (same). Don’t expect it to be tailored – it’s a looser top! It’s 100% cotton, a nice thicker weight, too. I was in between the medium and large bc they fit similar, so I just went with the large for length.
