You guys liked June’s cart post so much I just had to share my July one as well!
What’s in my cart you ask? Oh many things but these are my favorites. I love this pair of pants from J.Crew and thrilled that I’ve waited long enough that they went on sale. I have some jelly shoes (love) but a jelly tote? Absolutely makes sense that this is my next move. I actually wore the white top + green dress last week (remember it’s on my substack now!) and can confirm they’re a great find. Let’s get to the rest of my cart!

01 | By Anthropologie Poplin Top: Okay I actually have this one. Went from my cart to my heart real fast. I love this top — it’s a wide and loose top and while it isn’t the most ‘flattering’ top it IS the most comfortable. It’s giving Tibi from a decade ago. (Does anyone remember THAT peplum top?!)
02 | Sezane Sunglasses: I, unfortunately, do not have a small sunglasses kind of face. Those smaller sunnies from the 90s are all the fashion girl rage right now, but me and my big cheeks aren’t a fit. I’m a giant sunnies girl forever and ever. I can’t do the slim 90s but I can do the giant 70s sunglasses. These Sezane ones are top of the list.
03 | Madewell 90s Ringer Tee: I am coming around to fitted tees (still triggered by the 00s) and this one looks like it would be a good bridge between my trauma and the current trends. Plus I love this royal blue — such a universally great color to wear and works well with basically anything.
04 | Maeve Smocked Dress: This dress too made it from cart to heart and all the way to NYC. I was right thinking this would be a great day dress in NY! It’s lightweight, but structure and 100% cotton. Such an easy piece to wear. Also this green is GORGEOUS in person. I got a compliment on the streets over the color!
05 | Thirty Years Jelly Tote: I love that we all collectively as a generation said “let’s bring back jelly but for e v e r y t h I n g.” I remember having a clear purse in 1996 that I absolutely loved and would love to travel down memory lane all the way to Nordstrom for this bag. Also as far as clear bag privacy issues? No worries for me as I have nothing to hide. (I buy the fancy tampons and want people to KNOW.)
06 | Adidas Tokyo Sneakers: Look I already have a pair of brown sneakers. But if I can find a good enough justification by the end of this month, I’ll have two. I love the blue and brown combo, unexpected but perfectly matched.
07 | J.Crew Rori Pants: Hear me out: these pants + that ringer tee. AND the jelly tote. 10 outta 10 outfit in my mind. I’ve not tried the ‘Rori’ pants from J.Crew but I’d love, too especially in this fun green / white stripe! (Have you tried them? How’s the fit?)
