As someone who has catalogued her outfits on the internet for close to 17 years, I can honestly say I know when I’m stuck in a routine. I don’t dare say “rut” because I can also tell when I’m stuck in a rut and thank goodness it’s been a while since I’ve experienced that punishment. I slipped it on, immediately noticed the silky cool fabric and lightweight feel and thought, ‘now THIS is a summer dress’. I looked in the mirror and loved it instantly. It is more pattern than I’ve worn in a while and I honestly love it. Do I wish I was booked on a cruise right now with this dress? I do. I wish these photos were coming to you from an alley way in Cabo instead of downtown McKinney, But you know what? Some summers are tropical vacations and other’s are weeknight pizza dates. And if you can’t take your pretty summer dress on an all expense paid trip to the Bahamas, then take her to get some pizza.
The best news is this dress is 50% off right now! I just clicked my own link and saw it was on sale! I am in the large but it’s very roomy and a touch big. Therefore I would suggest a size down if you tend to go in between sizes. A medium would have been fine for me as it’s loose and flowy with adjustable straps. It’s unlined, so it’s very flowy and airy under here but non-sheer.
