I recently bought a few things to kind of ’round out’ my summer wardrobe and of course they came from Quince. I realized after buying these things that while these pieces are basics, I’d consider them elevated or better basics. These are updated pieces that work as building blocks but more elevated in style. Since these pieces are from Quince, everything is well under $100 with most being under $50! Let’s get to the pieces!
100% Silk Maxi Skirt
I love this color silk from Quince. In fact, you may recognize this hue because I actually have this hue in the mini skirt and the silk pants. It’s just a favorite of mine because it’s so easy to pair with anything. It works year round, too! I’ve been wanting this long maxi and ended up getting it in the large. I have a large in all the silk pieces, as I find they run just a touch snug so I size up. Gorgeous hue and weight! It’s a bit thicker than the mini skirt as far as weight goes. What makes it a basic? It is a great building piece, you can wear it with tees and tanks now, sweater layered over the skirt later.
I’m in the large of the tank — perfect fit for me! I’d say TTS.

100% Organic Cotton Gauze Smocked Wide Leg Jumpsuit
I love this jumpsuit — it is so comfortable. Is it the most fashionable piece? Nah, but it’s so comfortable I don’t really care. I wore it traveling and had zero regrets. I’m in the large for the length — it runs a bit short. I’ve washed it a few times now (hung to dry) and i feel like the length went up just a smidge, but not too much. This is one of those one-and-done pieces that you can throw on and go. It doesn’t get much more basic than that!
Size up for length but otherwise, TTS!

100% European Linen Tank Mini Dress
I love linen pieces from Quince, so I picked up this new silhouette last week. It’s fully lined, but it does not have shorts underneath, like some do. This one is pretty long though, so that’s ok! I am in the large, I like the fit at the top with my chest / arms, but i do wish it were about an inch shorter. (I realize I’m in the minority on this lol)
Fantastic quality, fully lined, looser fit, size down if in between sizes! Under $60, which is a great price for this piece!

100% Organic Cotton Gauze Shorts
I am all about the comfy, cozy shorts for summer and I noticed they just dropped this gauzy pair of shorts. They’re under $40, and very soft. It’s a double layer gauzy cotton with a drawstring waist. They run generously! I got the large and I like the length but the waist is quite loose. This is the darker navy color, it’s a nice break from a traditional black I’d reach for.
I wanted a tank top that wasn’t a ribbed high neck tank top so I looked around and found this one! This is a modal fabric, so it’s that slinky feel. It runs TTS to me, I’m in the large. It’s slightly sheer, but with a nude bra it’s ok. Lightweight and airy! A nice basic for under $20.

Lightweight Cotton Cashmere Relaxed Sweater Tee
If you’re looking for a lightweight top, that’s not just a tee then may I introduce you to the cotton + cashmere tee. It’s a lightweight sweater, very lightweight like I can wear this in the summer no problem. It breathes and isn’t too hot. I’m in the large for a looser fit, but overall it’s TTS! I love this lemon yellow but it comes in so many colors. And it’s well-priced, right at $30.

100% Washable Silk Lace Cutout Cami
This one is the most elevated basic in the try on. I have the regular silk camisole from quince (also love) but this one has the lace feature at the neckline, which makes it extra fancy. As far as fit, t’s a bit shorter than the typical silk camisole. It runs smaller at the chest than the original silk camisole. I am in the large and it fits like a glove. If you have big boobs, size up or this may be a pass. Gorgeous top! Must wear a strapless bra, though.
PS: I know it’s wild to buy jeans in summer, but these are hands down my favorite fit from Quince. It’s their viral $50 wide leg jeans and they’re worth the hype! I’m in the 30, perfect fit.
