Hi friends! We made it through another week in summer. This week was a little bit longer as it’s been a hot one and we’ve been inside most of the week. It just didn’t feel like a ‘let’s go to the pool’ kind of week. I can’t explain it but the pool has some kind of energy and this week just didn’t have it. Probably because I was busy launching my pre-loved shops newest drop (!!), shipping my orders and I’ve been working hard on my new Substack! It’s not ready yet BUT it should be in the next few weeks! I’ll tell you more in the next week or so but for now if you’d like to sign up you can! I’ll be moving these posts over there, in fact!
I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not but I’ve been trying to add some color into my life lately. I still love me some white tops, but I do feel like I’ve been doing well in adding in some spice! I’ve gone more pastels this summer and I don’t mind one bit. This lemon yellow has a hold on me and I like it. I don’t plan on stopping any time soon.
Let’s get to the outfits!

Friday | WFH + Camp drop off and pick up
I don’t remember this day but I have a photo of it happening so that’s good enough for me. I think we ended up getting pizza and watching Toy Story 4. We are getting ready for TS5 around here! I’m so excited, I won’t lie. I loved me some Jessie back in the day.
Oh girl, I LOVE love this top. I wore it last week as well and it’s just such a cute summer top to wear with denim. It’s a chambray like top and it’s 100% cotton. I’m in the large, it runs loose overall! It’s a nice on the go top, too.

Saturday | Brunch + shopping
I was thrilled when I realized this skirt matched this top perfectly. I wore an outfit like this last year with a Nuuly top that I lowkey regretted sending back. I’ve thought about this outfit ever since. But I found this bubble hem top and it is a perfect substitution. This skirt is old Madewell that I just can’t let go of and this top is new Amazon. (I’ve linked a very similar skirt from Zara!)

Sunday | Date night
Our ever standing Sunday afternoon / evening date night got a wee bit interrupted because we wanted to watch the Soccer game. We’ve got a little goalie ourselves so we’ve been watching almost every game in the evenings this week. I didn’t realize how fun the World Cup is! I’m a new fan, but I think I’m hooked for life. Also I’ve loved how so many people have embraced Texas culture. It is not for the weak stomached, I’ll tell you that. Tourists have been hitting up Buccees, BBQ and HEB has been the most fun thing to watch. In fact I talked to two guys from Japan at In-N-Out the other day and they had just been to a game! (Me and G were very jealous 🙂
This is the most Y2k top ever, is it not?? I rented it from Nuuly but it’s from Anthropologie! It’s a silky feel top and this pattern is just..it’s so Kendi in 2002. And I guess it’s Kendi in 2026 now as well. I’m in the large but it runs big! Even if you have tig ol’ bitties! Oh and my favorite J.Crew pants are on sale! They run loose / generously.

Monday | WFH + Errands
These pants are so soft, but I mean let’s be honest — they are pajama pants. But CHIC ok? Madewell has been hitting out the park lately especially with easy styles. I am in the medium and they fit fine but honestly? I’d prefer the large for more wiggle room at the hips. But overall they’re a relaxed fit. So easy to wear around the house, running errands, etc and still looking pulled together.
My linen top is under $50 now! It runs big — I’m in the medium.

Tuesday | Chick-fil-a + Coffee Shop w/ my girl
We needed to get out of the house for a bit so my girl and I grabbed some lunch and then hung out at Starbucks for a bit. A nice little girl day date. I went casual so I just tossed this outfit on. Oh I just love this little tee. I just got it this week from Sezane and I want to wear it everyday. I’m in the large for a little extra wiggle room and no touching whatsoever. Plus it looks perfectly vintage with these Quince jeans. Still my number ones.

Wednesday | WFH + Post Office Runs
This was my other purchase from Sezane and they’re a bit short. I’ve been longer / looser shorts lately and these were a shock to my system! They fit great (I’m in the 10) but they’re pretty short. The good news is the thigh area is quite wide / open so it just feels like you can see my booty, but can confirm you can’t. Can I bend in them? Yes but you will see things that only a medical book can explain. This is the only time I curse my long legs.

Thursday | WFH
I started my period so I must say I’m highly impressed with myself for even considering getting dressed this day. I love this spanx set so so much. Kinda want it in a neutral color as well. Sometimes your girl feels colorful, other times black is the only answer. There is no in between for me. My soccer mom bag also matched perfectly so I tossed it on, too. Is it too much matching? The limit does not exist.
Side note — I love these jelly flats. They are so comfortable and I oddly love that they look like invisible shoes. It’s like I’ve blurred my bare feet so you can’t see the pictures, but IRL.
