I hope you had a lovely weekend friends! Mine was spent furniture shopping / furniture wishing and getting ready for our fall party at West & Lou this week. (If you live in town, stop by!) I also somehow got talked into watching football this weekend. It’s a good thing my husband is very handsome and charming. I don’t give up my House Hunters marathons very easily.
I picked up this berry lace dress the other weekend. I saw it online and was crossing my fingers that it  would fit when I found it in store. Well, it fits like a dream and the color is perfect for fall. I was looking for something to pair with this crazy fantastic blush cape I found. Isn’t it adorable? It’s blazer weight, so it’s not really outerwear material which is perfect for right now. This fall and winter is cape season, if you haven’t realized it yet. They. are. everywhere. You will not be able to escape the cape, so don’t even try. Just embrace it with your exposed fore arms. May your arms be cold and your back be warm this fall.

  1. You look stunning Kendi! There is no mare of the casual and the same remixing of outfits on your blog though and I miss it. I’m sure the popularity is doing wonders for your income but I still miss seeing your regular everyday outfits on here.

  2. I’m realizing now after reading this post that I don’t own nearly enough lace. And by nearly enough, I mean that I own 0 lace pieces. I’ll have to add some to my list this fall!

  3. That cape is perfect! I’ve been wanting to buy one but haven’t found one that fits my style just yet.

  4. You look so chic and stylish. I adore this combo and you did a fantastic job styling. I especially love your dress!
