I am and will always be a fan of heels. Flats are a necessity sometimes but heels are my go-to, even if flats are the better choice. Since my affinity is not towards a heel-less shoe, it takes a lot for me to love a flat since it’s missing a key element for me: the height. I fell in love with these Vinca Nina flats last year (side note: I’ve worn them completely out. I’m holding my breath that they bring the exact nude ones back this spring, but I don’t know if they will. Don’t let my shoe dreams die, Vince.). I loved them because they were classic, easy to wear and comfortable. I almost didn’t realize I wasn’t in heels. Trying to replace a once loved shoe is a task but I received these Kate Spade flats over Christmas and they are creeping into my top 3 list of flats ever. I like that they have almost a menswear shape to them, but they are pink and have bows on them. Oh and you can’t tell but they have the tiniest heel ever. It makes me feel like I’m getting away with something, you know?

  1. I was excited to check out the new look—LOVE! Elevated and elegant but still fun! Congratulations….oh, and love the Kate Spade flats in pink….ordered!

  2. I’ve been eyeing this top from Anthro for a while now and I saw online that your picture was linked on the Anthro site wearing the shirt. Good to know it looks just as good on! I’m pulling the trigger on buying now. Leave it to me to have the exact same style leanings as Kendi Everyday! Been reading your blog and getting outfit inspiration since nearly the beginning of your blog. Just a little comment to say thanks!
