I spotted these flats this summer and had them on my list since. When my birthday rolled around last week, these were the first on my mind. Historically speaking, birthday money has notoriously burned a hole in my pocket in less than 24 hours, so I had a deadline and a record to break. Within hours of turning older, I was online ordering these lace up flats. I debated going black but I just love a nude flat. I’ve worn them for a few days now and couldn’t be happier with my birthday investment.
Speaking of things I’ve bought and loved, this oversized sweater is a keeper. All sweaters bought before December are typically an early purchase here in Texas, but I will be so happy I have this neutral staple this winter. Plus I’ve decided to own the fact that it’s November 4th which is most definitely sweater weather on paper, even if by mid-afternoon it feels contrary. Contrary is my specialty.
