Pleated Pink Maxi

  

Remember when I said yesterday that sometimes I like to dress loud and sometimes I like to dress quiet? This dress is definitely not quiet. In fact I wish I could show you in person how bright and colorful this dress is. Everyone meet at my closet in 5. (Actually that would be a lot of fun right? But in a weird way. That’s weird, isn’t it? Yes it is, stop talking now Kendi.) Although it’s funny because when I do dress in louder pieces, pieces that will inevitably bring attention to the eye, I seem to not want that attention at all. Why yes it is confusing to live inside my head. Thanks for asking.
My trusty denim jacket strikes again. It was just a little bit chilly to go without anything on my arms, although this dress is beautiful without the jacket. I think maybe this summer or who am I kidding in just a few weeks I can go without sleeves. But for now I’m happy to wear my denim jacket, any time, anywhere. 
PS: this dress is under $50 AND has pockets AND you don’t have to suck in. Wins all around.

  2. I lovvvve this dress! So bright & fun! And aren’t denim jackets just the best safety blankets? Aside from keeping warm, I find them so great for when I’m something more daring/attention grabbing… it helps mellow things out, somehow! Love this whole outfit!
