I can not get my life together this week, so apologies for the lame number of outfits this week. The good news is that it is Friday. The bad news is that it’s effing cold everywhere again. (These shoes were worn earlier this week, by the way. No way am I going toe less today or I’d be toe-less. Priorities…)

Since we were at market this, I’m always on the lookout for what looks to be the next trends this season. One thing I kept seeing was a lot of navy, from bags to dresses to shoes. Maybe it was just me and my buying preferences, but at bloom this spring there will be navy. I get so excited when we buy; I just want to show you guys everything right this second. But alas I’ll have to wait until we get everything in, but I literally can not wait for some of these pieces to get into the shop… and then directly into my closet. Again, my priorities are straight as always.

  1. Can’t get over how amazing your new ‘do is! I’m slowly getting the confidence to chop mine in a similar fashion.

As an aside, I think it would be great if you added your blog photos of styled bloom pieces to the bloom website. I never would have given a second thought to this blazer seeing it photographed on a hanger but after seeing it styled on you in these photos it has shot to the top of my “must need now” list!

  2. I’m sure I’ll be ready for more blue in the spring, too – this winter I’ve been living in a lot of black, grey, and tan clothes.

Stay warm down there – it’s freezing up here in Ohio. Boo to winter!

  3. Ooh, navy for spring sounds promising! And you look adorable! How is the elbow, by the way, healing up nicely? 🙂

  4. Kendi, you should resolve to share with us another 30 x 30 remix in 2014. I love the idea of the remix series and it would be especially helpful for those of us (i.e. me) who want to revamp their wardrobe this season, but aren’t sure where to start. Thanks!

  5. Gorgeous look, girl! Can’t wait to see the new pieces! And I’m jealous of those rockin’ open-toe heels! There’s currently a mini blizzard happening in Minneapolis…trade? 😉

  6. Definitely keep your toes! Body parts are most important. The weather sucks here too, but alas, I’m lusting after warm(er) weather shoes like your booties.

  7. I don’t normally comment on blogs but just wanted to say I always love your style – it’s not too contrived, unlike a lot of other bloggers! x

  8. Wasn’t your arm sling navy? I feel you brought on this trend on… Watch out–people are going to start breaking their arms, too! 🙂

(Please ignore this if the sling was black. hah)

  17. Navy is totally an every season color/ neuteal in my closet. Love your balance between casual and professional- and such gorgeous color choices! :] drooling over that blazer – extra long lapels and no button! Eeek! Lovely.

  19. I love navy. It’s my son’s and my favourite colour. I say my son because he likes to remind me that it’s both of our favourite color. Great outfit.

    Agi:)

  20. When your projections (navy!) match my current buying habits (I have bought a lot of navy blue this winter), I end up feeling so trendy and fashionable. 🙂

  23. Where I live it was -41 degrees F today. So the fact that you could wear open toes earlier this week means I don’t feel sorry for your “cold” weather today.
