It’s one of those days. You know what I mean. It’s not a bad day; it’s just one of those days. Nothing is bad is happening, I didn’t wake up to any tragedies that happened overnight, and I can’t really complain. It’s just that everything I have planned today is going to either be delayed or just isn’t going to happen. I woke up at 7, didn’t leave the house till 8:30. This never happens; I’m lightening fast at getting ready. But it’s like today woke up and was like you know what? I’m not doing it. Which would be fine if it were Sunday, that’s fair. But no it’s Tuesday. So can we get it together, today?
My hair and my makeup are just not having it either. Who knows what is happening north of my neck today. Makeup is not sticking around and my hair is revolting. I’m firing my hair and makeup team. Amateurs.
This is literally the best I could do today. This is it, people, this is 28. Which is fine, I mean I’m pretty much going to be hiding behind my computer today anyways. That’s why finally this morning I said screw it I’m dressing like a female version of Johnny Cash today. If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. I have no idea what that saying and Johnny Cash have in common but we are going with it.

I had a bad day. The car wouldn’t start, so I had to walk to the dentist and back in the rain. At least it’s just a few blocks away. I had a root canal. I found two dead baby birds outside. I tripped and fell on the steps outside our front door. I’m going to bed now. Hopefully I’ll have better luck tomorrow.

I feel ya girl! Today I woke up 3 minutes before I had to leave so I left my hair in my sleeping bun with a braid I've had in for THREE days and absolutely no makeup! Skinnies and my JCrew chambray are my go to blah day pieces!
If that's what an off-day outfit looks like, I'm OK with being you. You won't like seeing me on off-days. In fact even if you saw me, you might recognize me at all.

oh man, i totally get it. but my off days look a lot worse. ha ha! but i think you did the right thing. just give in and go with it. the more you fight it, the worse the day is. this is also the day i decide it's perfectly ok to have a candy bar for lunch. 😉
