Well, well, well. Look who found a new dress after she swore she was going to only spend money on stuff for the house this summer. BUT look at this dress, look at this color, look at the fit. Can you blame me while only slightly judging me? And technically it is for my house. If you consider decorating your closet as an important part of the house decorating process, which I do, then I’m still right on target.
Little known fact about me: I hate throwing parties. This has been a truth since I was a little girl — I’d much rather go to your slumber party than throw my own. I think it was the expectation to have the best party ever every time and that was way too much pressure at 8 years old, then at 12 and still now at 28. So now the only parties I like to plan are soiree’s at bloom, mainly because it’s only 3 hours and it still involves dress up. So this week I’m planning our next Sip + Shop for Thursday and as much as I dread the process, I have to remind myself: champagne and macaroons. That is my mantra this week.
