We are officially moved and as I do every time we move I swear  this time is the last. We are never moving again. This little town house is it for us. It’s only two bedrooms so we will have to be careful and have one only child. That or bunk-beds for life. After hauling the contents of my closet up three flights of stairs though, that pretty much sealed the deal for me on moving again. I was a little disappointed that my legs didn’t look like Beyonce’s when I woke up this morning but I’m hopeful.

In other good news, I have a massive size closet now (well it’s not that huge but it’s big to me). When I first moved a few of my things in I thought to myself “see? I don’t have that many clothes!” and then after I moved everything in and hung it all up I realized that I do have that many clothes. My feelings landed somewhere between pride and shame on that realization.

Oh and this happened today on our walk to the shop. Nature loves me.

  1. I love your style! And I say the same thing every time I move too! I moving (yet again) this August and I'm seriously considering just shipping everything there so it's waiting for me! Wishful thinking?

  2. I would love to see pics of your closet!! Where do you keep all your clothes? How do you organize them??

  3. I had the same thoughts when we moved into our (not so) new house – after moving around a ton growing up – I definitely appreciate laying down roots somewhere – and btw – bunk beds are always fun for kids!
Also – love the look – the light colors, florals + stripes + wedges are perfect for a warm summer day.

Hope you have a great week!

  4. You're like Cinderella or Princess Aurora or something with the nature loving you. I love moving. As long as by love we mean intensely dislike. My whole business revolves around people moving, though, so I'm an expert. This never seems to help when it's moving time and it's pouring rain or 1,000 degrees and I have to move everything uphill (both ways).

  5. You look so beautiful! I love this skirt. And I can't believe those wedges are target, they are so cute. Yay for having moved.. haha bunk beds for life for sure (not just for future kids but guests too)! 🙂

  11. I laughed at your realization on the amount of clothes you have:

"My feelings landed somewhere between pride and shame on that realization."

  15. I absolutely hate moving. But at least I've always had an elevator or 1st floor apartment! Congrats on your new place & you are looking beautiful as always.

  16. Congrats on the move! I keep saying I'm never going to move again, too. But after about two years in one place…I'm more than ready for another change of scenery. 🙂

  17. I'm not usually a fan of mixing prints, but this is quite lovely! Understated and pretty and totally perfect for spring/summer. The floral print on the skirt is so beautiful!

  18. I own that same Gentle Fawn skirt and it's one of my favorite pieces for spring! I've done it a little dressier with a pink silk blouse but love how you made it more casual with a striped tee…so cute!

  21. Yay! Congratulations on the successful move Kendi.I'm right there with you, lugging all of those boxes to and from houses is awful and makes you never want to move again! You look gorgeous though and I love your sweet nautical tee. Can't wait to hear more about the moving process!

  22. We are looking to move in the fall to a place closer to my job. It is such a pain 🙁 I am trying to stay at a similar price range and something that allows for dogs, blah blah blah. Hopefully this is your place forever! 🙂 Love your skirt!

  23. We are hoping to move soon. Hubs needs a job first. I hate moving, but I love the fresh start with decorating, arranging furniture, cleaning, etc.

  24. You crack me up! Yay for being all moved in! Can't wait to see the new place. I bet after walking up and down those flights of stairs for a few months the Beyonce legs will happen…can I come borrow your stairs?
