Once upon a time, I was a bride in a Pinterest-less and blog-less world. It was a scary time, my friends. We are talking no mason jars or photo booths at my wedding. I shudder.
And although I’d hardly consider myself cool, Style Me Pretty asked me to pick my favorites for their new e-magazine. Dream up a wedding without having to actually plan anything? Don’t mind if I do.
You can check out my picks along with other’s who actually are the coolest here.

  1. I was just helping someone sign up for Pinterest today and saying, “If I’d had blogs and pinterest when I got married….”  I actually think it might have made decision making a little overwhelming.

  2. I love how simple and classic your picks are. Someday, if/when I get married in like 15 years, they would still work. And the pockets make the dress.

  3. What a great collaborative!  Fun seeing everyone’s choices and how their styles are reflected in their picks + their blogs!!

  4. Just because you’re not a bride anymore doesn’t mean you can’t still look and admire all the fun and cute little things 🙂 Mason jars or not…

  6.   This is so neat!  I was just thinking the other day, the “Pinterest Generation” are gonna have the most fabulous wedding ever!
You are one of my favorite bloggers, I’ve been following your blog since the beginning! You’ve actually inspired me to start my own blog! I would really appreciate if you would stop by and tell me what you think, I have just started so I don’t have very many posts (and by not very many I mean just one post! ha) but I will be starting outfit post asap!    http://www.simply-sable.blogspot.com

  7. I know how you feel! When I got married, we didn’t have any cool ideas like you find on pinterest. But then my sister just got married last month and pinterest gave us such great inspiration in planning her wedding!

  8. Oh. My. Goodness. Your dress pick is the exact kind of dress I’ve had in mind for ages for my own wedding (in a couple of years, though). By exact, I do mean, exactly. It’s perfect!

  9. i’m extremely saddened that pinterest didn’t exist when I got married either.  although i probably would turn into a crazy, overwhelmed bride if I got married now!

  10. Loved the style me pretty magazine. it’s been a long time since i’ve looked at wedding magazines, but I read EVERY single page! Loved your picks!
