1-5roundup5 outfits down, 25 more to go. I think my favorite look this week was #3, did you have a favorite look that you remixed?

And now for a little remixer recommended reading:
Watch Linda not only wear her 30 for 30 items, but draw them too. (Caution — it’s terribly cute.)
Emily‘s equations are adorable. What’s better than mathematics and fashion?

Carrie is already on outfit #8. It’s okay to be jealous.
Alicia may have caught the flu, but she put on a cute hat to make up for it. (Glad you’re feeling better!)
MacGuyver would be proud of Nat’s skills for turning her scarf into a clever little shrug.
I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to see how Shea remixes her gold oxfords. I get shivers ever time she wears them.
Need some office wear inspiration? Angeline is the girl for you.

Hope you all had a great weekend! I’ll be back tomorrow with outfit #6.

  1. Fabulous so far! I keep thinking I'll do this soon, but I'm scared I'll do a poor job of picking my items and end up running out of ways to mix them. I'll keep watching you for inspiration…maybe I'll get brave!

  2. Look number 3 IS really cute! I just really love that skirt and how you combined red and teal together. I also love the trousers look. You did a great job – chic every day!

  3. I am so tempted to buy the shirt in look 4. I love it, and it is like nothing I have!

  4. I found your blog a while back but have never introduced myself! I'm Megan. the end. 😉
I love look 3 as well. I have the floral Gap skirt in blue/purple, and I loved seeing how you styled it. I <3 your style!

  5. Baby Diva — I wore outfit #5 twice and I wore a white tee and jean shorts today on our drive home (both in my remix).

  6. I really like the pants on #2, the skirt on #3, the color combo on #3, the belt on #5, and how classy you look in white jeans in #4. So basically all of them 🙂 You make the rest of us look like amateurs. Oh wait, we are. Are you seriously reading up on all 487998342 bloggers who are doing your 30 for 30 challenge? Yikes. I can barely keep up with a few of them. I am definitely having fun though – hasn't been too bad yet since I still have options of clothes I haven't worn yet. We'll see how it is when things get a little farther down the road…sorry this is a massively long comment!

  7. Oooh, I just did a recap as well. Great minds think alike!
I looove your looks so far. Every one of them. I may have to hire you as my personal stylist when this is over with.

    xo Melissa

  8. 3 and 4, definitely. How jealous are you coworkers that you showed up looking like that 2 days in a row? (not to mention the other adorable days)

  9. i'm loving number three as well! number 5 is a close second 🙂

i've decided to join your efforts (15 for 15 instead of 30 for 30 though). i can't wait to start!

  10. Kendi, what an awesome start to your 30for30 challenge! I especially love your 2nd and 4th clothing ensemble.

Unfortunately, I haven't been so lucky. I didn't realize how much of a hermit I would be in July. I have to bail out of the challenge. I'm sorry. 🙁 I was so looking forward to it, but if I was to continue I may finish in September! And I can't go without shopping that long. 😉

KyD Designs's blog is a firm supporter of the 30for30 challenge.

  11. I love number 3 and 5! I think it's a great idea and a clever way to cut down on spending and utilise your wardrobe. Loved the links as well – I will be subscribing (following?) some of them!

  12. Thanks a million for including me in your round-up Kendi!!!! You definitely went for more pops of colour this time around with your 30 for 30 and I really like it. Look how bright and cheerful your first 5 are 🙂 Love it xoxo

  13. Hi Kendi- not sure if you remember me, but once I sent you an email about your steve madden boots and you helped me find some of my own! Well, now I have started my very own blog and definitely consider you one of my major inspirations! I'm such a newbie at blogging and just want to put myself out there a little and get to know some people! Love all your looks, and Im definitely looking forward to the rest of the 30 for 30! love, ellie

  14. Great job Kendi. In all honesty, I wanted to join but I couldn't do the no shopping thing. There, I said it. Besides sarcasm and scotch/soda, it's my only outlet. There is nothing out there, just so you know, you are not missing anything, really, not even the $32 dkny wedges I just bought, in a size 10, and macy's had more…

  15. Thanks so much for including me in the blog roundup Kendi, I'm super flattered! I just started a new job this week so I'm just now catching up a week's worth of unread blogs and comments, and was shocked to discover a whole bunch of new commenters and actual followers over at my little neglected blog – now I know it's thanks to the Kendi Everyday Blog Bump!

I've been loving all of your remixes so far, you've got so many great colors and patterns in your pieces, they're sure to make for a wealth of really bold looks!
