Currently Loving: Cardigans

I mean technically I’ve always loved a cardigan. But this year, the cardigan has taken on a life of its own. It’s a WFH lady’s best friend. I can’t think of an easier outfit to put together than this one here — a tank or camisole, a long cardigan and a pair of denim.* I took it a step further and did a bodysuit and let me tell you a little secret: when you sit in a bodysuit, the bodysuit sits with you, if you know what I mean. You can see everything I ate for lunch for the past 4 years. LOL. Fine by me, but I wasn’t ready for that afternoon showing. And speaking of bodysuits, this one is on sale! Do I feel like I’m in a swimsuit? Yes. Do I care? Absolutely not. I’m in the medium of this bodysuit and there is no right way to say this so let’s just have at it: the button part below is really long so you don’t have to size up for length. Someone finally figured out bodysuits!

Wanna know something? I actually find long cardigans kind of hard to wear. Which is weird because I myself and very long. Seems like those two should go hand in hand, but I find myself drawn to shorter cardigans. This one, however, is the exception to this made up rule; I don’t know if it’s the fit or the notches at the end that give it more shape, but it doesn’t feel too long or too much. Noice.

I put heels on because I like a little height with a long cardigan, but gotta be honest — I am out of practice. Walked like a baby deer just born BUT didn’t fall. Progress! Also I asked my heels if they missed me as much as I’d missed them. They didn’t say anything which feels like their answer is a hard no. These heels are from last year’s anniversary sale but there are some similar here and I’ll link an under $50 option in the side bar for ya as well!
