I posted this dress a few weeks back but I love it so much I wanted to shoot it again before it went out of stock! (It’s on the BOGO 50% deal with Target right now so it looks like it’s going fast! You can find it here.) I am in the medium, it fits pretty true to size.

This dress is pretty straightforward as far styling — a nice pair of heels or strappy sandals, some light jewelry and you’ve got a classic look that looks fancy. (This is how I first styled it here!) But I wanted to bring the fanciest down to an everyday level so I paired this dress with my snakeskin belt that has come in handy more than I thought it would and a pair of nude mules. (Speaking of…I found these kind of similar ones! Thoughts??)

I found this jacket on Wal-Mart when I was looking for Miss Gemma some back to school finds and I kept my expectations low. A $24 jacket? Yeah. Keep your expectations low, kid. Well, I am here to tell you — I was wrong. I judged a jacket by it’s price tag and I am here to admit I was wrong. This is a nice jacket and perfect for fall. (NOT right now because the world is 100% on fire.) It’s a thicker knit (it kind of looks suede in the photos but it’s a nice, thick knit with a hint of stretch.) It’s plenty warm, surprisingly warm actually. Come September the weight of this jacket would be just perfect! (Or if you work in an office that’s cool, this is such a nice layer!) I bought this jacket in black and brown and I love both. The brown might be my favorite but I think I’m just really into that color right now. It looks like this jacket is selling fast too but it’s available in NextDay Delivery, just thought that was cool! You can find this jacket here.

So which look do you like best? Now or later? OR should I say snakeskin or camel?

Fit Details

I am in the large of the jacket because I made an ordering error but I’m returning for the medium! I have the medium in the black and it fits perfect. As you can see this fits fine in a size up, so if you want to layer you can size up and it would be fine too! Just not as fitted. I am in the medium of the dress.

  1. I have followed your blog for so many years and never told you. Seriously, your job in life should be to restyle items for stores. I can’t express how many items you have posted and I click the item and on the store website it looks HORRIBLE! This styling on this dress onTarget’s website is bad. The dress looks like an accordion piece of foil. But you make it look STUNNING!!! Keep up the good work, girl.
