I posted this query on IG and got so many responses so I thought I’d ask you here: Are you a hat person or no? I LOVE a hat. I feel like sometimes it’s the missing secret sauce of an outfit but internally I’m super shy about wearing hats. You would never know because I’m a pretty confident person, but wearing a hat all day does give me a little bit of shyness. I always feel like I’m sticking out a little bit more than I’d prefer. So what about you? Does wearing a hat give you MORE confidence or LESS? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I wanted to tell you that these jeans are an extra 20% off today! You can find them here and two other ways I’ve styled them here and here. They are a wonderful pair of denim for well under $30 with the sale! I am in the size 8 and find that they fit true to size. You can find them here!

Since this hat is an oldie but a goodie (it’s Club Monaco for those who want to try to hunt one down!), I couldn’t find an exact dupe but I’ve rounded up some favorites I came across! It’s kind of strange that there aren’t more pink hats available because I find this color to be a new neutral nowadays. But alas, I did find some good duplicates below (including this under $20 one from Amazon or this one from Shopbop!)

  1. i love hats, themselves, and the idea of hats, and hats on other people.
but as a gal with SUPER short hair, i just hate them on me. i feel like they make me look super-masculine, which isnt what im going for — as in, regularly, when im wearing a hat, i get called “sir.” no thanks!

  2. I love a good stiff brim hat! My favorite one is from Lack of Color. They just add so much to an outfit and hide my bedhead (perfect for day 2-3 hair). I do feel like it makes me stand out a bit, but I kind of like that 🙂

  3. I want to be a hat person. I SO BADLY want to be a hat person. I have hats. But I live in freakin’ Kansas, and wind. Womp womp!
