Sage for Spring
Do you know what color has been on my mind lately? I think it’s going to surprise you — this sage green I keep seeing everywhere! I loved it in this Topshop Dress and in this floral flirty number. Do you love this green as well? I find it to be universally flattering on all skin tones, as it’s a soft enough hue that it can be worn easily. I say pair it with a classic neutral heel or flat and you’ve got such an of-the-moment but classic look. Imagine that sage dress with the linen blazer tossed over? Beautiful, right?
Bold & Blue
How gorgeous is this blue color of this wide-leg chinos from Everlane? Look I know what you are saying right now — Kendi, you want me to try WIDE LEG CHINOS and IN BLUE at the SAME TIME?? Yes, yes I do. Go big or go home, girl. I mean you can always try this lovely off-white shade or a classic dark khaki, but I say go for the unexpected. Q: How amazing would these be with this Club Monaco blouse? (A: REALLY AMAZING.)
How about we mix some prints this spring, eh? This floral dress which is like one I’ve worn before in coral is adorable in the green print! Throw on this striped scarf and a layered look is perfect for the office or wherever you may be headed, you gorgeous lady.
What if one day you just went for it and wore subtle pink to the max?? I actually have these pink jeans (haven’t worn them yet though!) and this top so actually… I should be the one to just go for it, shouldn’t I? I’ll see what I can do. 😉 But in the meantime, isn’t the outfit below adorable and while it seems like it should be too much pink, it’s not — it just works!
Can you believe this darling dress from Target? It’s under $30 and I love the shape of it and the pattern! Pair it with a popping pair of heels, a classic blazer, and a simple tote and you’ve got a VIBE, girl.
Which outfit was your favorite? What are you looking for this spring? I’ve all about colors, as you can tell!
