Mother’s Day Gift Guide!

Do holidays sneak up on you like they do me? Mother’s day is Sunday, May 13th and you guys — that’s only 10 days from now! Like a good mother is, this holiday is so sneaky. Since it will be my first official Mother’s Day,  I’m trying to decide which of the above I’d like to ask for. Hey Bryan, anything above plus the Bottle of Rosé, please.

I pulled together a few things that a) I’d like to have and b) that I think my own mom would like to have! Go with what you know, right? I always think the best gifts are the ones you’d like to receive yourself! So here we go!

I love this ‘Mama’ tee from J.Crew. One caveat — it won’t ship until AFTER Mother’s Day. In this case, it would be a-okay to be a little late with your gift. (Don’t act like you aren’t always last minute, anyway.) I also love this Mama Ring, it’s under $50 and is such a cute gift for moms of all ages and stages. If you’re looking for a few books, unless you know exactly what the mom in your life likes to read, I like to stick with cookbooks or coffee table books! This Mother and Child book is brand new and the images are beautiful. Joanna Gaines also just published her latest cookbook, which is Mother’s Day gold. Find me a mom who doesn’t like Magnolia. She doesn’t exist. Speaking of books, this is a sweet book for a new mama and her baby! Ok, it’s more for baby but it’s one of our personal favorites. I’m not reading a lot of long-form these days. This book is called ‘Everything is Mama‘ and it’s precious. Since Gemma has conquered the word ‘dada’, I’ve now moved on to working her over on ‘mama’ every chance I get.

I know for an F-A-C-T that my momma would love this Joules floral anorak or these Tory Burch sandals. (Mom, if you’re reading this don’t get your hopes up. It’s photos of Gemma this year.) Speaking of, framing photos of your babies really does make a lovely gift for Mother’s Day. I prefer Framebridge because it’s easy (you can upload from IG or Facebook) and their frames are so high quality!

If you’re looking to give a little spa or beauty time, let me show you my favorite mask! It’s from Origins and it’s rose clay. I use it once and week and love how soft my face is after! Perfect for a skincare obsessed mom! I also love this candle from Colleen Rothschild (or basically anything from her site!) This candle is a best seller for them, so it’s sure to please. Of course, no relaxation kit is complete without a pair of very soft pajamas. These are my very favorite PJ’s and if I’m being honest, this is what I want for Mother’s Day. I literally can not be any more clear here.
