Yesterday I had a doctor’s appointment and decided to put on a few new things I’ve purchased postpartum. (Actually, these Vince pants I bought during the anniversary sale and I’m SO glad I did! They are on sale and even cheaper now than they were back in July. Bad for me, good for you.) I’m working with a few new curves and nursing boobs (sorry, there’s no other way to say it) so I bought a couple of new tops with a bit more room. This one is absolutely perfect — it’s SO soft and it has my favorite feature — bell sleeves. Plus I’m really digging the oatmeal color. It’s a nice break from my typical go to grey.

Speaking of grey, I busted out heels for the first time as well. It feels good to be back, old friend. These grey suede mules were some favorites from the anniversary sale as well — but I’m just now getting to put them to use. Luckily they restocked them and they are well under $100! One outing yesterday and I got two compliments on these shoes. I’d say that’s a really good start for these shoes. I can tell we are going to be really good friends this fall.

Oh and that’s my baby bag. It looks like a purse but it’s not. Fooled ya. 😉 It’s also not Kate Spade — we just happen to have the same initials. The bag is actually from an Australian brand called The Daily Edited and the leather is amazing quality for being at the price point it is. Plus I feel like I can get away with this bag as a purse or tote once I’m done with my baby bag days. But we’ve got a few more years before that. 😉

  1. You look great! Congrats on getting dressed in more than just leggings and t-shirts. I know when I had my little one I stayed in PJ’s a solid week at least. Then I moved to leggins and slowly incorporated “real clothes” back into my routine. It took a while. 🙂

  2. I am SO glad you are doing postpartum outfits so soon! I mean you deserve a break but selfishly I’m excited because I’m due in a couple weeks and I feel like bloggers always take a long break after having a baby because they say they wear the same thing every day and it’s not something that needs to be shown off…which, no judgement, but even seeing regular clothes after having a baby, with the way our bodies change, would help me feel better! Thank you for doing this!
