My mom and I were running errands the other day together and before we went she called me and asked “are you wearing something cute?”  I could hear in her voice she was really hoping the answer was no. To which I replied, ‘Mom all that fits right now is cute.” She’s used to seeing me in yoga pants and a workout tee when we run errands, but maternity yoga pants are oddly expensive so once they are worn and in the laundry, they are out of rotation for a few days.  Of course, easy dresses are my go-to lately. (As seen by this whole week!) Mainly because tops give me a bit of an issue with length and trying to find the right bottoms. I am missing my summer staple of cut offs this season, which is my typical look by this time. (AKA next year get ready for some legs in cut offs.) So when I find a top that is long enough and works with maternity jeans, I’m all for it. It’s nice to switch up from my usual dress only dress code. (Although shout out to all my dresses that have been lifesavers this pregnancy!)

This top I found on sale at Anthropologie and what I like about it is that you could wear it both ways — off the shoulder or like a normal top. I love a top that gives you options. Since I need the length, I’m wearing it off the shoulder but I love that later I can choose to wear it another way! (Also for those who aren’t crazy about off the shoulders, this top is for you!) Oh and did I mention SALE? Yep. I got you girl. (Here is all of Anthro’s summer sale!)

I picked out a few of my favorites from the sale below!

I hope you have the happiest weekend!

  1. For great leggings that easily double as maternity leggings, check out GapFit. They carry a handful of leggings that have a high rise waist, perfect for pregnancy. Depending on comfort, I either roll the band down below my bellow or pull it over. The leggings also work well when not pregnant!
