One of my favorite brands to wear for summer is Free People, hands down. I like the brand throughout the year as well, but their summer line is always what my dreams are made of. I always look for a few day dresses or tunics I can wear with cut offs and this summer is no different. I found this dress a few weeks ago online and immediately knew it was for me. I love when I find a piece like this — it looks as if it should already be in my closet. I couldn’t decide between the blue and the white so I ordered both. Turns out the white was my very favorite in person, even though I was certain I’d love the blue. The white is just so crisp, so summery. But there are four colors to choose from! (…Or to buy in every color. 😉 ) You can find the dress here.

My other favorite thing about Free People dresses and tunics is they work season over season. I have FP dresses from years ago that I love bringing back out each season; they are just too good to let go. This one is no exception. I’ve got so many summer plans for it, even though we aren’t traveling too much this summer I have a feeling one day this dress will see the beach.

Since I’m on a Free People kick anyways, I thought I’d share some of my favorites in stock right now! This dress is my number one favorite and I love these other summery options. Now if only they would make baby clothes…I’d finally be bankrupt. 😉  A few of my favorite pieces below!

Update on the clogs from yesterday! They too are Free People and I’m on day three of wearing them out and breaking them in and they fit SO much better today! I love a clog for summer and this one is the perfect height for me. So I wouldn’t let the tight fit at first scare you away, they stretch out perfectly.

Fit Details

Dress fits generously but true to size! I would stay true to size or size down if petite! True to size for Free People which always runs a bit big.

Monthly Capsule Wardrobe

Each month I create monthly capsules out of my favorite pieces, perfectly curated for each month.
