We had plans this weekend in New York. And what was meant to be 1-2 inches of snow ended up being a blizzard. Ok, ok for this girl it was a blizzard. So we passed up shooting a few outfits, re-arranged our work plans and ended up seeing a show on Broadway and walked around the snowy Soho sidewalks. You know what? When snow delays your work, it’s not so bad. So while I was hoping for wintery NYC photos for you this week, plans have changed. But I didn’t think you guys would mind. Also I am made for comfort, not snow.
I have been in the cozy zone lately with getting dressed and this Vince dress hits all the right marks. I was actually on the hunt for a dress just like this, but my hunts rarely end with me finding exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a looser knit dress that still had a bit of shape. I like to create my own challenges apparently. So you can imagine how happy I was to find this one! I haven’t taken it off in a week. (Ok not literally, but you know what I mean.) And I’m glad it can work through the rest of winter through spring. Grey always works in the spring and even better in winter. Throw a moto jacket over the dress and you are good to go for cold days, add a trench or denim jacket for spring. I told you there was a reason I was hunting for this dress.
