I always find myself looking for some kind of buffalo plaid each fall. I think I was hooked ever since my first plaid button down. But since I have all the plaid shirts a girl needs, I look for other ways to play the plaid game. So I was extra excited to see this jacket from Old Navy this season! I love a half jacket / half sweater like layering piece for almost-cold days. (Just FYI — it’s really more of a jacket than coat, it says it’s a coat but it’s more of a jacket weight! Or a “Texas coat” if you will.) We get a lot of almost days around here, so this will come in handy.
Speaking of layering, I was hoping for a real cold spell so I could layer my plaid scarf with my plaid jacket, but no such luck. So just envision the plaid on plaid for me if you will. It’s a good luck, I just need a few more weeks to make it work.
Oh, oh look I’m in a camel sweater again. I told you — Camel Everyday is about to take over. I have loved this sweater — and I found a similar one at ON here! Every girl needs a camel sweater. Those are just the facts.

I’m in the medium if that helps! It fits true to size on me, maybe a tad big but I like that i can layer underneath it. I would say if you’re in between maybe go small! I’m typically a medium / 8 in jackets — hope that’s helps!

I got the Buffalo Check coat a few weeks ago. Another bonus for us ladies that are allergic to wool, and thus most clothes this time of the year; no wool. Fantastic outfit!
