I try not to pick favorites, but this has to be one of my favorite outfits as of late. I’ll be honest — I didn’t really love this dress when I saw it on the hanger, but once it was on my body I did not want to take it off. It was so simple and crisp, I just didn’t think this pattern enthusiast would be drawn to it’s simplicity. I was so wrong. I want to wear it every single day. Plus, I love when a dress that looks good with flats. It’s a tall order sometimes to find the exact proportions for the flats + dress combo. This dress fits the bill perfectly.
I’m really trying to lean into flats season with the upcoming summer. I’ve always associated spring and summer with wedges, but there are so many perfect little sandals floating around this season it’s hard not to give into the other side. In fact I updated my shop page with a few of my favorite sandals for summer!  These studded sandals are just the right amount of bad attitude that I don’t really have. I’m just a positive, happy person with some very dark soles.
(Oh come on, you had to have known that was coming. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve laid down a bad pun. It was bound to happen sooner or later.)

Yes! very comfortable. I had to get used to the strap being there but it doesn’t rub my ankles or anything. And yes, true to size 🙂
