I have been on countdown until the days I could wear these floral shorts. (Also, I hope you are getting a visual of me with a calendar where I mark off each day until APRIL 5th: FLORAL SHORTS DAY, whilst staring longingly out the window. It wouldn’t be too far from the truth.) Spring weather is always a roller coaster, that I happily board because any season that is cool with floral shorts is cool with me.
Coming from last week’s parade of pretty dresses, I have been really trying to up my casual game on here. I am naturally inclined to reach for dresses but I’m trying to calm down and be more casual. Yes, my friends, this is my casual. You see I don’t really have an in-between — it’s either heels or straight up no makeup, yoga pants and a sweatshirt and top knot that both should have been washed days ago. That’s why I have been looking forward to shorts weather, it’s my in between dresses and straight up pajamas all day.
Also shout out to this top for being so darn easy to pair with my floral bottoms. You’ve got to love a top that makes your job easy. It’s the best assistant I’ve ever had. (You can see it paired with my floral pants from earlier this spring here.)

I love the pop of color that the blue bag gives! Also, I’m a little jealous that you are able to wear shorts right now. Here in MA, it was 70 on Friday, and we got 4 inches of snow yesterday.
