There is nothing more classic to me than a little white dress and a trench. In the spring, I tend to trade in little black dresses for crisp white dresses. I have to be careful because I can go overload on wearing white in spring. This dress caught my eye though because of the floppy drop waist. This is my type of hemline — a flippy little skirt with a little bit of structure. It makes such a bold statement on an otherwise simple dress.

I am not joking with you when I say I really have to reel in my excitement for spring. I want to wear ALL THE COLORS RIGHT NOW but I have to remind myself there is time. I mean Kendi, call down — it’s just March. So I’m easing myself into spring with a nice pop of mint. While I’m a true believer in most colors for all the seasons, mint is just one that rings true for spring. It’s always my favorite color to return to after the dark shades of winter. This Kate Spade purse is the perfect addition for spring dresses and cures my need for spring color. For now. I can’t tell you that I won’t show up in full on rainbow tomorrow. In fact, prepare your eyes for that just to be safe.

  1. You look so Parisian and chic! It’s funny, I remember that time you posted a Kate Spade purse you’d found for $4, how cool is it that you can get them new and shiny now! 🙂 Do you still have that $4 one, though?

  2. Yes, I totally agree with wanting to wear all the color. Mint is the perfect jumping off point (dying over that purse) – Jac

  3. I love this little white dress! I agree, swapping out the lbd for crisp white in spring and summer is one of my favorite ways to ring in the warmer months.

  4. I wish I could get that excited about clothes. I used too, but now with a toddler, I just don’t. I can’t wait to see how your wardrobe transpires once your’re a mom. I hope you keep it up. So many moms, like myself, lose ourselves once were mama’s.

    1. It will be fun to see how my style changes with motherhood! I watched my mom have endless style my whole life, she never skipped a beat and I hope I can be the same. I think it’s fun in general to see how my style has changed from desk to the shop to now! So it will be fun to see a new chapter as well. Also toddler age is hard because they are into everything and going everywhere! But it doesn’t last too long though! I tell my friends who have newborns to toddlers to stick with poly (basically indestructible),rayons or dark cottons (Easier on stains, for sure!).
