Happy Monday friends! I’ve had to check my calendar a few times today because after this busy weekend in Austin I’ve lost track of my days. I was certain today was already Tuesday. Convenient how I’ve trained my brain to just skip right over Monday. Convenient that is until you realize that in no reality on this side of the moon can you skip Mondays, even with the power of positive thinking. I also blame daylight savings time. For the next week my body will question why I am waking up so damn early.

I had a freak out this morning when I went to link this trench because I couldn’t find it anywhere on Ann Taylor’s site. I’ve had it for a little while but I just couldn’t imagine it being sold out. Turns out it’s still online but the better news is it’s on sale with an additional 40% off! Not just good news, but best news. You know my love for jackets and I just love this bright color for spring. Some days I lean towards soft pinks and others I want bright, bright red. That’s one of my favorite parts of spring style — color is everywhere and any shade goes. You want to be soft one day and bold the other? You are welcome here.

(PS: sorry for the unintentional ‘bird’ in the last photo. Sometimes my hands and my hair do what they want in photos. Ridiculous.)

  1. How are you liking the kate spade licorice pumps? I just adore them so much, they are the best fitting pumps for me. I’ve been wearing them a few years now. I must try to refrain from buying all the colors. Bloomingdale’s has an exclusive mint green color – I just couldn’t resist them since I had a promo.

    1. I LOVE THEM. They are the most comfortable pump style heel I’ve ever owned. I wore them all day at a conference a few months back and while yes I was ready to not be in heels, it wasn’t that they rubbed or blistered or hurt. I would absolutely buy them in another color, they are just so comfortable! I’m glad you adore them as much as I do! The mint green sounds perfect 🙂

  2. So I hardly ever comment, but that last photo really does look like you are giving the bird. I laughed out loud. Now that’s the funniest thing I seen all day. Glad you didn’t delete it. I know it was unintentional, and that makes it all the most funny.

    1. It was such a good photo otherwise! Baha and now you all know what my road rage face and finger looks like 😉

    1. I didn’t wear this in Austin. This was in Dallas a couple of weeks ago 😉

  3. Hi Kendi! I really enjoy your blog. Your style is always so fresh and pretty. Thank you for sharing and keep it up. You never disappoint 🙂
Also, your website is so easy to navigate. Great job!
